I’m a PhD researcher at the Department of Humanities at Northumbria University, Newcastle-upon-Tyne (UK) and funded by the Research Development Fund. In my PhD thesis, I examine various narrative forms through which borders and the environment are articulated in Scottish literature from the nineteenth century onwards. My pronouns are she/her.
Outside of academia, I live in Newcastle with my partner and our ever-growing family of house plants. I’m a vegetarian who is very fond of cats and animals. I use my free time for crafting, crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, playing video games, cycling or hiking.
